What Criteria Must A Coach Meet To Become The Motorcoach Store Certified?

To qualify for The Motorcoach Store Certified Pre-Owned Program, a motor coach must meet the criteria below, then complete the detailed certification process our technicians carry out before it earns the designation.

It must be no more than five years old, based on the current model year.

It must have 50,000 miles or less.

It must hold a clean title, with no history of salvage, flood, or branding.

It must show no evidence of major accident damage or structural repairs.

It must be free of pre-existing mechanical or cosmetic issues at the time of delivery.

It must successfully pass a comprehensive 400-point inspection; completed by The Motorcoach Store’s certified service technicians. Our 400-point inspection covers every major system in the coach, from chassis, powertrain, generators, drivetrain to appliances, HVAC, plumbing, and freshwater systems.

All major systems and components must be fully functional and operational at the time of delivery.

A certified dealership technician must complete and sign off on the unit’s final certification documentation.

Every component covered under warranty is tested for full functionality, and any deficiencies are noted.

Our technicians repair or replace any non-compliant parts to bring the unit up to certification standards.

The unit is officially designated as Certified Pre-Owned and clearly labeled as such on the lot and online.

Only motor coaches that meet all requirements earn the Certified Pre-Owned designation, a reflection of the quality and confidence that The Motorcoach Store stands behind. This process ensures that every certified motor coach offers reliability and peace of mind from day one.

What is covered under the limited warranty

Every Certified Pre-Owned coach from The Motorcoach Store comes with a Limited 90-day Warranty, offering real protection for key systems and components.

Pistons, rings, bearings, crankshaft, camshaft, and valves. Timing components. Water/fuel/oil pumps. Turbocharger. Diesel injectors/heater. Internal transmission components, torque converter, Modulator. Cooler, shift control unit, mounts & Pan. Differential housing, CV joints, U-joints, and bearings. axle shafts, driveshafts, and supports.

Master cylinder. Electric/hydraulic brakes. Actuators.

Spindles. Hub bearings and wheel bearings.

Metal frame. Brackets and welds.

Internal engine components, block, and cylinder head. Starter, ignition coil, and voltage regulator. Generator assembly.

compressor, evaporator, and condenser. Accumulator, Expansion valve and Receiver drier.

Ignitor/ignition assembly. Burner elements, thermocouple, and gas valve. Thermostat and Blower/fan motors.
